The Academic Network, Inc. - values its partnership with HERC in efforts to diversify aspects of the academic profession. We are pleased to offer the following discounts to HERC members: Membership to the Minority Faculty Applicant Database (MFAD) for 1/2 cost - $600 (normally priced at $1,200); Listing to the 2010-2011 Higher Education Directory for Diversity (HEDD) for $75 (normally priced at $100); Priority registration to any of our 2010-2011 workshops, including our 2010 National Conference on Minority Recruitment. We are proud to have been selected – often repeatedly – by more than 50 colleges and universities to assist with development and implementation of their dependent care strategies that include child care, back-up care for well and mildly ill children, and adult care programs. Our partnership with higher ed organizations has helped them create and sustain a supportive climate for their employees and families. Bright Horizons offers HERC members a 10% discount on consulting services including demand studies, benchmarking, leadership interviews, employee surveys, and focus groups.

Diverse Issues in Higher Education - News magazine and job board. Diverse is offering a 10% discount on career fairs and certain print and online recruitment packages. Enter "HERC" in the promotion code space. Additional discounts may be available depending on the package purchased.

Graystone Group Advertising - Advertising agency that specializes in the higher education marketplace. There is no charge for advertising through Graystone and they will offer a 2-10% rebate to HERC members on their commission. They have also offered to produce brochures for regional HERC meetings at no charge.

Green Job Interview - Videoconferencing solution with no software or complex hardware required. All you need is a webcam to interview candidates. The service is similar to Skype, but without the security concerns. They are creating a custom HERC user interface available at no charge to HERC members (a $1,000 cost savings). Use of service costs $49.95 per half hour interview.

Hispanic Outlook Magazine - has been a source for higher education news for 20 years. H/O is published biweekly in print and online, with bonus circulation to conferences and conventions. Each issue brings forth the significance of communication in academic circles, and the importance of the positive teaching and learning experience. All HERC members will receive a 15% discount on print ads, 1/4 pg. or larger placed directly with their sales office. All print ads include an online posting for 6 weeks at no extra charge.

Indeed – A search engine for jobs. All HERC jobs are on Indeed and it is one of HERC's top referrers. Indeed was selected by Time magazine as one of the Top 10 Websites, by PC Magazine as one of the Top 100 Classic Websites and by PC World as one of the Best 50 Websites.

INSIGHT Into Diversity – For 35 years, INSIGHT Into Diversity (formerly Affirmative Action Register) has been connecting diverse professionals with institutions and businesses that embrace a workforce that reflects our world. Created as a national recruitment publication, INSIGHT Into Diversity was originally intended to help employers comply with equal opportunity employment legislation. Today, through its free magazine and online recruitment site, INSIGHT Into Diversity continues to serve progressive employers looking to find dynamic talent in every field. HERC members will receive a 10% discount on ads placed directly with their sales office.

Jobelephant – Recruitment advertising agency that specializes in the higher education marketplace. Jobelephant consolidates the placement, tracking and billing of ads in newspapers, internet job boards and trade journals. Jobelephant manages the advertising campaign for National HERC and some of the regional HERCs. There is no charge for advertising through Jobelephant. They have offered to manage the member invoicing for all regional HERCs at no charge.

JobTarget – Technology company that powers the HERC websites. Jobtarget's OneClick service facilitates the crossposting of jobs to other job boards and is built into the backend of the HERC website. JobTarget developed a custom HERC resume/CV database at no charge for HERC member institutions.

HERC members can use LinkedIn to conduct detailed searches for active and passive candidates. HERC members receive an exclusive 5% discount off the first purchase of any LinkedIn product. Only HERC members that are new users of LinkedIn's Talent Advantage products will enjoy this discount.

Monster – Comprehensive nationwide job board. Monster is offering exclusive pricing for HERC members with discounts of up to 46% for job postings. Each job posting includes a free posting to Monster's Diversity Network. Member institution logos are included on each job posting at no additional cost. Each HERC member will have a dedicated sales representative and customer support team for pre and post-sale inquiries (refer to the brochure on the HERC website). Note: these discounts only apply to institutions of higher education.

Renaissance Strategic Solutions (RSS) - helps organizations increase the effectiveness of their human capital strategies and programs. They focus on providing strategic solutions but can also help with tactical challenges.
