Academic Affairs encompasses all academic units of the UC San Diego general campus, including graduate, professional, and undergraduate education, the undergraduate colleges, research centers, and the UC San Diego libraries. The Executive Vice Chancellor (EVC) oversees the educational and research mission of the general campus and is responsible for ensuring that UC San Diego maintains the highest academic standards in teaching, research, and public service.
