Responsibilities of Academic Personnel Services Academic Personnel Services (APS) is responsible for managing the academic personnel program for
the UC San Diego campus (General Campus, Health Sciences, and the Scripps Institution of Oceanography).
Under the leadership of the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Academic Personnel, the eight APS units (listed at left)
provide a wide range of services to the Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and to the campus community.

AP On-Line Recruit, a new electronic job application system that allows academic job seekers to apply for open faculty positions and search committee members to review applications online, is now available for use. (Click header for details.)
Electronic recruitment plan now available

A new electronic system for processing recruitment plans for open academic positions is now available for use campuswide. The electronic recruitment plan (e-RP) system provides for submission, routing, and approval of recruitment plans.
