is seeking candidates to join the clinical pharmacy faculty. The successful
candidate will have the responsibility to provide guidance to an
Investigative Drug Service that includes production formulation sterile
products for parenteral modes of administration. Responsibilities include:
FDA, GMP, and GLP in accord with experiential and classroom teaching, and
clinical research in the SSPPS.

Qualified individuals must have a pharmacy degree,
should have completed a postgraduate residency and/or fellowship training,
have experience and demonstrated competence in teaching, a record of
creativity and promise for academic advancement, and be eligible for
pharmacist licensure in California. Must also have demonstrated knowledge of
CGMP and USP 797 rules and regulations.

maintain a clinical practice. In this capacity the candidate will be
responsible for working with physicians, physician-scientists, clinical
investigators, nurses and other pharmacists to support the mission of the
Hospital.
In the Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (Web:

the candidate will be responsible for the teaching students, residents and
fellows. He/she will have responsibility to lecture in pharmaceutical
sciences courses, to develop elective courses as appropriate, and to
participate in faculty governance. The candidate is expected to establish a
research program in their area of expertise.
