Information Systems and Data Management

The Academic Information Systems and Data Management Office is responsible for the development, testing, implementation, roll-out, enhancement, and maintenance of the Academic Personnel business process web portal, Academic Personnel On-Line (AP On-Line), and for the oversight of the data resources pertaining to academic personnel at UC San Diego.  This unit works closely with all other units in Academic Personnel Services to ensure consistent and cohesive delivery of shared information.

Data is currently delivered via the following:

  • An internal Academic Personnel database application that is being partially migrated to the support Web portal
  • Internal Academic Personnel pushbutton reports used for workload management, file status tracking, data entry correction, and creation of informational lists for campus users
  • UCSD Data Warehouse queries available to campus users
  • The Academic Personnel Web site
  • Standard and ad hoc reports created by Academic Compensation and Data Reporting personnel
