Nomination Tips

Over time, as the quality of the candidates has increased, selection committees have found it more difficult to choose award winners.  Consequently, we asked the Chancellor’s Associates Faculty Recognition Awards Selection Committee members to tell us what types of things most influenced their decisions.

Committee members indicated that the ultimate selections made are influenced by: 

• the depth and quality of nominations
• the strength and enthusiasm of nominations
• having input from more than one nominator
