About Academic Employee Relations
The Academic Employee Relations Office is responsible for:
- Proactive problem solving with academic departments and divisions.
- Developing and administering policies pertaining to academic
grievances, layoffs and misconduct.
- Consulting with faculty and academic administrators on academic
employee relations matters.
- Facilitating informal mediation and negotiation to resolve academic
employee concerns.
- Responding to charges filed with external State and Federal
agencies.
- Coordinating requests for records due to litigation.
- Developing related training and educational programs.
