Colleagues,
I am pleased to announce
the continuation of the Graduate Student Workshop Pilot Program and I invite you to submit
proposals for the second round of awards. Proposals
for this next round are due to the appropriate Dean's office by Friday, October
25, 2002. Deans will then forward
to me all proposals, with comments on each, by November 1, 2002.
Please refer to the following announcement for a description of the
program. The program description, a proposal form, and a list of the
2002-03 award recipients are also included as attachments and can be accessed on
the Academic Affairs web-site at: http://academicaffairs.ucsd.edu/offices/planning/.
