The goal of the program is to enhance the visibility of UCSD by bringing advanced graduate students from across the United States to UCSD to participate in special topic two-to-three day workshops. These students would interact with UCSD faculty and graduate students from the sponsoring departments or programs, adding to the academic vitality of our programs and potentially helping future recruitment of faculty, graduate students and postdoctoral scholars.
