Gillian Hemingway manages the Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor - Academic Affairs. She oversees the support for Senior Vice Chancellor Paul Drake, regularly interacts with members of the SVCAA’s management team, the Chancellor and Vice Chancellors, Deans, Department Chairs, Program Directors and various campus and community offices. Gillian represents SVC Drake at university and community functions and on academic affairs and university committees. She oversees all incoming and outgoing correspondence and action items and works with Executive Assistant Bev Strobl to coordinate preparation for all of SVC Drake’s meetings.

Gillian works with the SVCAA and Assistant Vice Chancellor-Academic Personnel Kristina Petruzzelli to coordinate the New Faculty Orientation, Department Chairs' Workshops and Faculty Mentoring Programs.

She oversees the administration of the Hellman Faculty Fellows Program and the Chancellor's Associates Faculty Excellence Awards Program.
