| Tricia Takacs is responsible for management of the UCSD academic personnel appointment and advancement process. She serves as an advisor to the Assistant Vice Chancellor - Academic Personnel and the Senior Vice Chancellor - Academic Affairs in matters related to the UCSD Academic Personnel program to appoint, appraise and advance faculty and other academic appointees. She provides counsel to faculty, chairs, deans, provosts, and standing and ad hoc review committees. In addition, she is responsible for academic personnel policy and procedure development and implementation, Endowed Chair appointments, review of faculty administrators, academic sabbaticals and leaves of absence, and staff training programs in the area of academic personnel. | |
