Instructional Scheduling Assistant (ISA)

The ISA is a new tool designed to support the annual course planning and quarterly class scheduling processes for departments, instructors, and the office of the registrar. This project was initiated by the Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs (EVCAA) in collaboration with the Division of Biological Sciences (DoBS) and the Jacobs School of Engineering (JSOE). It is available to all units that conduct course/class scheduling, and will allow instructors to submit their scheduling preferences.

The system is designed with the ability to produce data for to the Registrar's office in their preferred format and future enhancements will allow it to interact directly with ISIS (Integrated Student Information System), UC San Diego's central student records system.
