The mentorship program is built around an academic year calendar of activities and milestones that consists of the following:

Mentees attend UC Business Officer Institute (BOI) – 3 day program, free to participants except for travel costs to meeting |
| April 5-8 2009 (UC Davis) | Mentees attend UC Academic Business Officers Group (ABOG) meeting (optional) |
| January - December 2009 | Mentees participate in the Academic Affairs Business Officer Academy |
| June 2009 | Year-end luncheon and evaluation/feedback meeting with mentorship committee and program participants |
| TBD 2009 | Mentees attend UCSD Business Leadership Forum (BLF) – 3 half-day sessions, free to participants |
