Recruitment Assessment Report
INTRODUCTION
This
report is required only for recruitments conducted on the General Campus and at
SIO for Ladder-Rank Faculty. The purpose of the report is to
provide the Dean an opportunity to review the outreach efforts of the
hiring unit and the resulting applicant pool. If necessary, the Dean
may ask the unit to expand its outreach efforts to enhance the pool of
applicants. A search committee may not proceed to interview
applicants until the Assessment Report has been approved by the
Dean.
Submit the report to the Office of
Academic Diversity and Equal Opportunity, mail code 0029. Attach to the report
evidence of the unit's outreach effort--copies of ads posted in
journals, letters to colleagues/institutions and list of addressees,
e-mails, flyers, etc.

percentages.)
