Recruitment Selection Report
Introduction
This report is required only for
recruitments conducted on the General Campus and at SIO for Ladder-Rank
faculty. It documents the selection process and should be
prepared when an applicant is finally selected for proposal for
appointment.
Submit the Selection Report to the Office of Academic Diversity and
Equal Opportunity, mail code 0029. Attach to the report the search
chair's signed statement that describes:
- the selection criteria,
- the selection process, and
- how each seriously considered candidate met or
did not meet the criteria.
The hiring unit will be notified when the
Dean has approved the report and will be faxed the approved report. A
copy of the approved report should be included in the appointment file that
is submitted to Academic Personnel Office.

Check List Table of Contents. (The Microsoft Excel version includes imbedded formulas to
automatically calculate totals and percentages.)
