This page is designed to assist UCSD department hiring contacts utilize the posting discounts available to UCSD, through our affiliation with the Southern California Higher Education Recruitment Consortium (HERC). 

 

Academic Keys

This Web site offers universities a venue for the efficient recruiting of higher level faculty and administrative positions. The AcademicKeys Web site attracts around 50,000 job seekers a month. AcademicKeys also has a highly successful e-flier job posting package. Over 200,000 individuals in academia have requested to receive the AcademicKeys e-mail job announcements. By signing up with the e-flier option your job posting will go out via-email to a targeted audience.

To receive the discount on a job posting on AcademicKeys.com, simply enter the Partner Discount Code (which was provided in an e-mail to academic departments from the Office of Academic Diversity and Equal Opportunity in August) when selecting your posting package. A confirmation of your 25% discount will be sent in the job posting e-mail confirmation. This discount will be applied to the price when you are invoiced.

 

IMDiversity.com

IMDiversity.com, a CareerXRoads "Top Site" four years in a row, is the one-stop e-business site devoted to serving the cultural and career-related interests of African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanic Americans, Native Americans, women, and other underrepresented groups in the workforce. Backed by over 32 years of publishing experience, our extensive IMDiversity.com multicultural Web site network, advanced job banks and recruitment services, in-community organization partnerships, and paper publications such as the respected BLACK COLLEGIAN Magazine help connect diversity-committed recruiters of all sizes and diverse student and professional talent nationwide.

Inside Higher Ed

Insidehighered.com

Inside Higher Ed is a new online source of news, opinion, career advice and services for all of higher education. Because of UCSD's membership in HERC, you’re eligible to participate in a 90-day free trial of the site. During the trial period, our institution may use all the services of the Inside Higher Ed recruitment site -- job postings, application pre-screening and electronic application delivery -- at no charge. To start your free trial, please register and create a recruiter account by clicking this link: http://insidehighered.com/sign_up/?rdi=anBjPTE1MDA%3D

There’s no limit on the number of individual accounts from each institution, or on usage of the site by each account; however, to take advantage of the free trial, you must register and create your accounts using this link. Your 90-day trial period will begin with the first job posted to the Inside Higher Ed site from your institution.

One note – the Confidential Profiles database is now operational only for entering Profiles. When this database is open for searching, Insidehighered will credit each account created by a HERC member with unlimited searching for 90 days.

Women in Higher Education is the only monthly news journal helping to reach thousands of women leaders on campuses throughout the USA and Canada, and worldwide on the Internet.
