BD05064_.WMF (41194 bytes)Resource Administration is dedicated to providing high quality assistance and information to Academic Affairs units in a timely and effective manner.  We are committed to providing exceptional customer service and empowering the divisions and departments of Academic Affairs to perform at the highest level possible.  The goals of the units within resource Administration are as follows:

Budget and Financial
To develop and implement outstanding administrative processes for the distribution and management of General Campus financial resources.   To participate in analyses of Campus resource needs and allocation strategies.

Staff Human Resources
To provide expertise and assistance to the General Campus in the interpretation and implementation of staff related human resource programs and initiatives, including, but not limited to those associated with compensation, classification, training and development and diversity.  To participate meaningfully in the development of policies affecting staff personnel and payroll programs.

Space and Facilities
To provide expert assistance to all units developing short and long-term strategies related to the effective management of space and facility utilization.  To serve as representative of SVCAA to other campus units involved in the planning, budgeting, design, construction and outfitting of facilities.  To serve as liaison to Academic Affairs units with respect to a wide variety of space planning and facility use issues.

Faculty Housing Assistance Programs
To support the recruitment and retention of a world-class, diverse faculty and senior management group by providing effective advice and assistance in obtaining convenient and affordable housing.  To manage the campus allocation of Mortgage Origination Program (MOP) funds to ensure that loan allocations are adequate to allow faculty to purchase suitable homes.
