La Jolla Del Sol Apartments
One option for new incoming general campus faculty who may not have the financial means
to immediately purchase a home is to rent at the UCSD La Jolla Del Sol
Apartments through the Faculty Housing Priority Program.
Program Eligibility
- Same eligibility as the Mortgage Origination Program (MOP)
- Members of the Academic Senate; or
- Acting Assistant Professors; or
- Senior Management Group (SMG) Employees
- Eligible faculty must formally accept their official offer of employment
from UCSD.
- Eligible faculty are placed on a separate priority wait list and can
usually be accommodated within sixty (60) days.
- This program is currently available only to general campus
faculty (in Academic Affairs units).
Program Highlights
- Convenient UCSD owned rental housing close to campus.
- 1 and 2 bedroom apartments available with competitive rental rates and
amenities.
