Council on Undergraduate Education (CUE)

The Council on Undergraduate Education brings faculty together to discuss various strategies for improving undergraduate education at UCSD. The Council serves as a forum for tapping collective wisdom and discussing best practices, new initiatives and proposed policy changes.

Council membership includes General Campus faculty who serve as Vice Chairs for Education (or in similar positions) and Directors of undergraduate programs. The inaugural meeting of the Council, held during Fall 2004, was with participants from nearly all of the academic units on the General Campus and SIO. Council meetings are now held quarterly.
