Exploration of bioengineering research using or developing the cyberinfrastructure, the global nature of bioscience and bioengineering, and the need for cultural competency. Examples from PRIME. Students who have participated or are considering applying to PRIME highly encouraged to attend.

How can you get the most out of your library's resources to find articles, reviews, books, patents and data? What online databases are authoritative? This seminar is designed to prepare CHEM majors for advanced literature searching. Co-taught by the UCSD Chemistry Librarian, Teri Vogel.

What does social scientific research say about how fairly women and men are treated in the workplace today? Parents compared to non-parents of the same gender? This research illuminates what is often invisible as we embark on our own careers.
